Dear MMHS Alumni:
I am pleased to inform you that our Annual Reunion will be held on August 8, 2009 and we will be honoring the following classes: 1929, 1939, 1949, 1959, 1969, 1977, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1999 and the most recent class to graduate; 2009.The event will begin with a social hour at 3pm followed by dinner at 6pm. After dinner, we will hold a brief business meeting. We will select officers for the next year. We will honor the youngest and oldest graduates present, the alumnus who travels the longest distance, and the class that has the largest percentage of attendance. Members of each honored class will give brief remarks.The meal, which will be buffet style, includes roast turkey w/gravy, roast beef w/gravy, mashed potato, carrots, peas, tossed salad, dinner rolls, dessert and various beverages.The event will take place in the Rose Gaffney School gym. THERE WILL BE NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT THIS FUNCTION. The cost per banquet ticket is $18. The deadline for buying tickets is July 30. You will receive your purchased ticket(s) at the door that evening.We are proud to be announcing the names of scholarship recipients from the class 2009 during the meeting. Please remember – it is YOUR donations that enable us to offer these scholarships. We need and look forward to your continued financial support.Please plan to attend our reunion.
